The story behind the house.
A house with a history
For years, this was a bed and breakfast run by Diná, a much-loved figure around here and still a dear friend of ours. When the house came to us, we kept the things that made it hers, the cobalt baseboards, the terracotta floors, the dark shutters, and slowly added a little of ourselves.
Our heritage is part Japanese, part Mediterranean, and you'll find both woven through the house, and most of all at the breakfast table, where the two ways of cooking sit happily side by side.

Casa Atelie is run by a working potter who came south for space, light, and clay. Mornings she is at the wheel in the studio; the rest of the day she is around the house: nearby if you need anything, and out of the way when you don't. Guests are welcome in the studio, whether to book a session or just to watch the kiln being loaded.
